Community Code of Conduct
StockArena is a paper-trading platform for mentor-led groups, including teen students (ages 15 and over). This Code of Conduct applies to every user — students, mentors, co-mentors, and platform admins — and governs all interactions on the platform: chat, mentor sessions, profile content, and any communication initiated through StockArena.
Mentors and co-mentors have additional responsibilities described in the separate Mentor Code of Conduct, which they acknowledge before mentor features become available.
What's not allowed
You may not, on the Service or in any communication initiated through it:
- Harass, bully, or target any user, including with slurs, threats, or sexual content
- Use derogatory or discriminatory language based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Share another user's personal information ("doxxing")
- Solicit private off-platform contact (phone numbers, social media, personal email) from another user, particularly from any minor
- Share or solicit sexual content of any kind
- Encourage, instruct in, or describe self-harm or suicide
- Engage in or threaten any form of violence
- Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation
- Spam, post promotional content, or attempt to disrupt the Service
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
Reporting
If you see something concerning, use the Report action on any chat message. Reports go to your fund's mentors and platform admins and are reviewed promptly.
For imminent danger to anyone — including yourself — contact local authorities first. In the United States, dial 911. The platform's reporting tool is not a substitute for emergency services.
Enforcement
The platform operator may, at its discretion, remove messages, suspend or ban participation in chat, terminate fund membership, or terminate accounts of users who violate this Code. The operator's decision is final.
Mentors and co-mentors have moderation authority within their own fund (delete messages, ban students from chat) and exercise it in line with their separate Mentor Code of Conduct.
