Quality Compounder
Long-term owner of great businesses bought at fair prices. Compounding does the heavy lifting; patience is the edge.
How a StockArena fund runs, end-to-end.
One mentor — pro, retail, or somewhere in between — and a small group. That's it. No classroom of thirty. The size matches a real coaching relationship, not an event.
The mentor brings the worldview and the time. Students bring the curiosity and the trades. The app records and amplifies what happens between them.
Each student gets $1,000,000 of virtual cash and six months of paper trading. Whole shares only. US, Hong Kong, London, Tokyo, more — converted to USD. Live quotes from Finnhub. Market and limit orders, take-profit and stop-loss brackets.
A small symbolic prize at the end. The real outcome is the relationship with the mentor and the recordings that feed our library. Each fund is its own contest on its own subdomain — your fund's data isn't visible to any other.
Claude is the AI between mentor sessions. It reads each student's portfolio, their trades, the mentor's stated philosophy. It drafts feedback, surfaces teaching moments, runs trade theses, explains concepts at a level matching the student.
What it doesn't do: give the mentor stock advice. The AI is a coaching assistant — the mentor is the coach.
Six starting points, fully customizable. Mentors pick one to seed the AI, then shape it from there — adding their own frameworks, mantras, and lessons until the voice is unmistakably theirs.
Long-term owner of great businesses bought at fair prices. Compounding does the heavy lifting; patience is the edge.
Bets on secular disruption — AI, biotech, robotics, energy transition. High conviction, high volatility, multi-year horizon.
Top-down: rates, currencies, commodities, regimes. Concentrated bets when the setup aligns; cash and patience when it doesn't.
Margin of safety, buy when others are scared. Bet on mean reversion, forgotten names, and the businesses everyone has given up on.
Diversify across regimes, size for the bad case, never blow up. Discipline over conviction; survival over swagger.
Invest in what you see working in daily life. Growth at a reasonable price — the brands and businesses that hide in plain sight.
Each archetype is the entry point. What mentors do with it from there is what makes the voice their own.
Daily app use. Live video sessions, cloud-recorded — every one feeds the library. The mentor reviews recent trades, preps talking points, runs the meeting, drops feedback into inboxes after.
Optional fund chat board for shoutouts and trade comments — system-posted trade cards keep the channel warm even on quiet days. AI never posts unilaterally.
Students walk away with a six-month working knowledge of how markets actually move, how to think about risk and position sizing, and an authentic relationship with someone who's been in the seat.
The mentor walks away with a recorded portfolio of teaching moments and a small group of people they helped grow.
The mission is to keep financial literacy and real mentorship open to anyone who wants in. The plan is to grow this with volunteer mentors and partners who help sponsor groups so anyone can join.
Every recorded session feeds our growing library — guidance from the best mentors, accessible to anyone on the platform. Your group's library doesn't disappear when the season does.
